Anyone hyped for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty?

I've played the original game like 4 times and this last playthrough I'm trying to do every single side mission and I installed some mods too that increase the immersion some more :).

A lot of people bashed this game at launch because it had technical issues but it was always a good game. I'd rather have a studio reach for greatness and then have some problems than just a bland uninspired experience. Cyberpunk was a masterpiece like if Mozart wrote a Symphony but then a cat pissed on it. It's not great you'd rather not have cat piss on it but it doesn't change anything about the quality that's underneath. And the good thing is they fixed the bugs by now so it's no problem and I think they've also worked on some other things in the game that are mostly small but very welcome improvements :).

This world has really sucked me in the only other one that's comparable in a game is Vampire The Masquerade that also hooked me ^^

Right now I'm playing a stealth build with throwing knives where I headshot people from hidden places and they don't know where I am my aim with the knives has become pretty good although sometimes it's still hard to judge the distance and the amount of drop that will happen.

Anyway I jut wanted to see if anybody else likes the game out there :P

I bought a copy for a friend who wanted it desperately and grabbed one for myself, too. I installed it and booted it up to watch it chug on my underspeced rig. I picked a background and started playing, got told to steal a car, tried to do so, and got busted by the cops. The owner told them he couldn't be bothered to stay in town for a trial, and the cops said "okay" and whacked me with something so hard the game crashed.

Definitely a memorable experience, but I'm going to have to wait until I have better hardware before trying again.

It's a game where your character is destined to die (you can't transfer your consciousness just by making a digital copy that is absurd) so it's pretty hard for me to get invested either way.

No matter how awesome your character gets, they are a dead man or a dead woman.

It was one of my top 3 most played in 2022, probably again for this year.

I pre-ordered Phantom Liberty, so can't wait to play it with my V.
