I love returning to "Crystal Singer" trilogy by Anne McCaffrey, all 6 books of "Dune" by Frank Herbert, "Black jewels" novel series by Anne Bishop.

That is such an old book, like from 1990. I wonder if they rewrote it in today's world how different it would be. It was a cake walk back then. Now that we have cellphones that we can use to mess with people's minds it's even worse. And with these weaponized feminists, I would hate to be a nan trying to date a good woman, because there would be few and far between.
I met Patrick by accident. He was taking care of his elderly mother when these were assisted living apartments. She was 80. I was invited by one of the residents here to help decorate her front door for a Christmas door contest. She invited Patrick to help as well and that's when we met for the first time. Then the rest is history.
I never cared for meeting a man in a bar 🤕

I see in your profile that your radar is out there looking for a nice type of woman. How do you hope to find her? The holidays are coming up, maybe you'll go to a party and she'll be there 🙂. That's how I picture you meeting someone special. I haven't been married since the '80's. Not that I wasn't asked, I said NO a few times. I didn't want to get married just to have a man like some women do. I wasn't even looking when I met Patrick, and that's how it usually happens. Just when you're not looking one day you'll meet her.
Patrick was married for 24 years but she died in 2009 from diabetes. I met him nine years later, but he still could never give me his all. She was always lurking in the backgroung 🤷🏼‍♀️
