Yeah, like what kinda derp can't beat a game in 600hrs
No. This is normal derpy gaming conditions
Video games are for derps

No, some games can be beat in 5 minutes, others can't ever be beaten because content is endlessly added, and everywhere in between.
I'm quite good at gaming, but even I don't care if someone speed ran halo 2.
I don't play games to beat them or speed run, ideally I'd want endless replay value/no end to it, and when it has an end, I don't try to beat it fast, I try to savor it and take my time and find all the secrets and see all the sights and do all the things, and if a boss battle is hard i want it to be long too to really push me5.
For campaigns 8 hours is a good number, it doesn't feel too short but can still be beaten in a day, but then you have multiplayer, and mods, and thats an endless thing.
Anything competative is going to be multiplayer, its going to involve endless improvement and their will always be someone better, and when you beat them, another person will have become better, and so will the person you beat, and then next time they might beat you, and then you might get better and beat them the time after that.
Its why games are fun in the first place, the challenge, the unpredictability.
I like your questions. I remember your tag name now. 600 hours is a lot of time. I'm old. 42 from the Golden age of video games. Multiple decades alive and I've very rarely spent 150 hours on a game. I try to waste less than 3 hours a day on a game. Mostly I succeed. That being said I was one of the first 1000 people to download the Minecraft beta for free and have over 2000 hours in the last 20 Years. Many of those building with my daughters. Yes I think it was a waste of time, but every second playing with my girls is the only reason I was born and wake up every day
Are we talking like a full completionist thing or just the end of the main story? Like you can spend 500 on skyrim and have it “beat” in like 10 hours for just the main story
Thank you!

Nope. Sometimes it takes you longer, for whatever reason. And as someone who's beaten Battletoads and Ghosts 'n Goblins, it's not like I have anything to prove in terms of beating a challenge.
It's tough to find games that don't have pay to win features in them now. If you're willing to drop a couple grand into a game AND have skill, it's feasible that you could get to end-game in that period of time.
Most likely is that they researched strategies for a while, and got familiar with the game, and some exploits before getting that 4 hour clear though. I can't think of any game with clear "win" conditions that I've sunk 600 hours into. What game is it?
You left out the part where you weren't trying to beat the game lol
I voted B lol
No every gamer knows speed runners are a thing and they are very good at what they do. Besides I'm not looking to speed run my way through a game I want to take my time and enjoy it.
No. I've been playing guitar faithfully for more than 20 years and I see kids on Youtube half my age doing things that boggle my mind. I just strive to be the best that I can be.
No because I am not looking to do it quickly. I have thousands of hours in some games even though I have beaten them several times
Competitive video games seem to defeat the purpose.
Not if he's playing the same game over and over in order to speedrun it. You can do that but I don't think it's the purpose of gaming. I think the more time you spend playing a game, the more value it has for you.
No, I have beaten Diablo in a weekend; didn't miss a meal or sleep and even went to church on Sunday. One speed run is enough bragging rights for me. Besides games are to be played for enjoyment; so 600 hours of fun is better than 150 hours of fun.
I think speed runs ruin the experience, I want slow runs. Shit costs like 80 bucks or more a game now, I want my money's worth, game better last years lol.
That’s a lot of hours into something with no net positive outcome
As long as you get there, that's all that matters
I don’t think you can “beat” Madden🤔
I know, I’m just being difficult😜 I do mostly only play sports games, and really just no gaming at all these days, haha.
But no, I don’t think I’d care. I don’t really play for speed. I think I might just not be a very good gamer, I think I don’t usually beat games😂 I remember playing Nintendo as a kid, and I think I probably just gave up on a lot of games, lmao. I was always envious of the kids who were always beating games.
Not if I enjoyed what I was doing
But I don’t play video games.
That’s too derpy for me
I don't waste my time on video games
@sirderpsalot123 see so derpy of you. Smh
All hobbies can be claimed as a waste of time if you don't make money out of them.
@sirderpsalot123 derpy is the claim here
Nah lol I'll just not play it again
Why would I care what others were doing?
600 hours? WTF!!
