I thought it would be fun to start a thread where we can share the most memorable April Fool's jokes we've encountered or even pulled off ourselves.

Mine was when I was a kid my dad came home without my sister and for an hour he acted like she was lost. Another one was again my dad's joke of our car was stolen. Of course my mom was freaked out but as a kid I remember I had laughed a lot!

I had an ex who told me she was pregnant at a restaurant. I'm a software engineer living in my own head and usually don't even know what month it is let alone the day. I just know what day of the week it is like Friday, Monday, Wednesday, because I have to turn in reports each Wednesday, but I don't know the number or month of the Wednesday and sometimes not even the year.

I actually started to tear up a bit and fell in love with her on the spot; like images of us spending the rest of our life together and her being the mother of our children filled my imagination and I proposed to marry her on the spot. I was confused a bit since I used contraceptives the whole time but I figured a miracle happened.

Then she told me it was April Fool's and then I realized how fooled I was. 😁 But then my little tears turned into big tears and she got upset that I was upset and her sister and our friends scolded her for playing such a cruel prank while I was trying to say it was okay and she ran away.

Anyway, that's what inspired me to propose marriage to her. Almost worked out except she broke off the engagement with me one week before our wedding. 😅

@Xia1994 After we broke off our wedding I threw the wedding ring I bought her into a river and walked into an intersection with cars swerving by, then got arrested and resisted arrest. Then kicked the bars of the jail cell and ran up and broke the security cameras in the cell and grabbed threw toilet paper and threw it all around the place until the police officers restrained and shackled me hand to toe until I couldn't move in the cell. 😅

When I was a teenager I worked at a fast food restaurant and I was going to prank the manager by putting a ketchup packed in the palm of my hand and pretend I cut myself while opening up the meat package. I cut it to deeply and when right through the packet and cut my had for real. It wasn't that bad just a nick but my yelp helped the rouse. My boss was so pranked!

In school many years back my friends let me almost slam my face into a metal pole 😭 I was talking to them and facing them while we were walking and not watching where I was going and then when when I looked forward I saw a big fat metal pole I would have slammed my face against had I not faced forward 😭💀. And then they were like awwwww man 😭 what jerks they were lol.

Oh you said most unforgettable 😭 well the one I shared is not even that funny but at least I went on a trip down memory lane 😭.

Oh here’s one story I found funny at the time 😭 we used to tie up the grass at my school as kids and then when the boys would play soccer on the grass they’d trip and fall cuz we tied the grass strands together 😭😩 no one got hurt tho!
