Furries taken over by guys but they can't even create a romantic roleplay so how did they take over?

Former furry romance writer! Went back to my furry groups to see who things are going and it's awful!

Now kinda really get why they are so looked down upon now. It's just creeps weirdos Sissy's and pretend trans.

Remember back when me and a few others made a wonderful story together. Romance love interest and plot!

Now it's only plot and they can't even write two sentences let alone a few paragraphs. It's just awful and it's all guys or fake trans or just herms which is a mix of everything.

Was it just the good furrys got loves and moved on or was this fandom always so bad. Few of us were just lucky? Would you ever do a wonderful roleplay or just a plot only rp?

I have never done furry roleplay/writing but I do write role-playing for one of my characters in FFXIV. It's a lot of fun and really can stretch the imagination at times. Unfortunately there are a lot of weirdos in there who want some really freaky ERP so I tend to avoid them.

Also, with as much hate as they get right now, who pretends to be trans? You either are or you're not. Are they trying for clout and sympathy?

Lol well it's more they say they are but would never change themselves beyond roleplay. It's kinda Thier way to get or have girls in a group where there are none and won't be cause it's so bad and toxic and like you say so many weirdos and overly freaky.

It has been a few years but online things change fast. Just missed like you said fun and stretching of the imagination.

Ffxiv is final fantasy 14, a mmo.

Oh, I write rp daily. A lot of the stuff I do now is slice of life stuff, just encapsulated within the Ffxiv universe. My character is a miqo'te which is a cat girl so I guess, furry adjacent lmao. They are more human than they are cat-like though. They just have the ears and tail of a cat. Everything else is human.

Oh, gross. I'm sorry to hear that. It always sucks to have a community you once loved, destroyed, and taken over by people like that.

I love adventure and slice of life. Right now in my friend and I's rp (they are a married couple) they are out on a vacation with their kids and currently at the beach. We do anything from a few sentences to full on paragraphs depending on how we are feeling and if the narrative calls for it. We never feel pressure to always provide long descriptions.

My last wonderful one was with a friend and we did a married couple with 3 kids amd they last went to a water park. They left the kids to go run around while we took some special time in the hotel room. Popcorn and movies that are so old and bad.

Super easy to find that in Final fantasy 14 tbh on the Crystal server (especially Balmung), if you can cut through all the erp people.

Well, I can help you find rp easy enough. there's a whole discord server of people looking for writing partners for their characters. I won't lie, some are into ERP or dark stories ( i tend to avoid them). You'd have to play the game though to really learn about it and get a feel for your character

I never got into the furry thing but they have furry conventions every year where I live and the stories I have heard cracked me up and made me shake my head , but not going to lie some of the girls’ that I see dressed up look sexy as hell. So I am not against it , just never experienced it , I do like roleplay and I love girls’ that like it as well as long as she doesn’t get to extreme over it. I heard they get hotel rooms and put human sized kitty litter boxes in the hotel room and shit and piss in them. Not sure if that’s true or not , but if it is , that is fucked up lol but other than that I have nothing against it

Ask a Baby Boomer or even a Gen X to write a little. They were never influenced by technology. Maybe their writing styles might sparked the creativity from the younger ones.

Just look at Ernest Hemingway, he was influenced by people 40 even 60 years older then him. Something to think about.

Might be a lack of moderation or group goals. For online groups around a sexually charged topic it takes a fair bit of work to keep the boys civil.

Never done the furry stuff myself, but roleplay I’m familiar enough with. My standards are fairly high and you have to learn to look in the right places for good partners. F-list is one such site for me, and I will always appreciate the multi-para room, but honestly? I have enough longstanding regular partners that we just do things on private servers, no need for any other spots.

I don't know how that community changed over time because I've never been in it but people have always seen them in this way. Maybe you were blinded to it or maybe you just found a group that was an exception but there were probably always furries like this you just didn't know it.

I don't know much about furries but in the fantasy rpg community it’s predominantly guys and it is a little frustrating when you want to run a beautiful character driven story and the guys just want to kill stuff.
