I've had a request on my last MyTake that was all about kissing techniques, to make another MyTake that would be all about hugs, so thank you my Amigo @BluesBoy and others for bringing that up and here is the list of different hugs, and their meanings at least according to me.

Yes, indeed, sometimes a HUG is all we need to put our every day struggles aside, and to forget them for a moment, it might be a hug from your parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, partner, a friend, hell even a stranger.

The best friends forever group hug

it can be a bear hug, squeeze, hug tight grip, a bunny hug whatever hug, fact is, that it truly does bond people in different situations, and it does make you feel better.
Other than that, it has a lot of health benefits, it lowers blood pressure, they may alleviate our fears, it can be good for our hearts, they are natural stress relievers.

Here are my three top hugs :
The "it is going to be alright" mom's hug. She gave me that when I was little and even when she was ill and I was scared to lose her when I was teen she gave me those hugs 😢miss you mom.
The "I am proud of you son" dad's hug. I was always in admiration of my father and one day he gave me that hug, will never forget it, I do hope he still watch over me
The "I will miss you hug" with my best friend. We know each other since 2 years old as our mother bound too just after we were born and even if we live far apart we always try to meet 1 or 2 times a year. Each time we leave each other, we have this hug.
Bonus hug
The "we gonna conquer the world together my friend and I am gonna look for your 6 whatever happen" I got a training partner and when we finish a tough workout or a race or when we do some random training or when a bad thing happen in our life we support each other and let the other know that he is not totaly alone to face life.
As you said hugs have benefits and in my eyes they symbolise trust, loyalty, friendship.

Whenever I get back from overseas business trips, my wife makes it a point to meet me at the airport (she doesn't have to do this).
Each time I get back, she sprints towards me and jumps and I have to catch her and we spin (I think I have to spin just to handle the momentum). It's one of my favorites since I'm kind of tired after the long airplane trip but missed her so much in her absence, and that enthusiasm makes me feel equally missed.
It looks kind of like this, and she really sprints full force at me.
I have to go overseas every few months for a week typically. It's kind of a nice ritual for me since sometimes I'm guilty of taking her for granted, but when I'm away, I start missing her like crazy.
First time she did this, it really surprised me since I was exhausted from the airplane trip. I almost fell down when she jumped at me, though it made me happy nevertheless. Now I've gotten used to it. :-D

I like the bro hug, personally. It's usually just one arm around each other and very quick. Both people are trying to act manly, but sometimes you just gotta show some affection to your bro.
Lmao my lonely self is the at least you lovd me hug at the moment! Just currently trying to figure out how to go about the girl who has a crush on me, mostly because she's my boss... she's a year older then me, and even though she isn't the highest in the chain of command where I work, she is my boss... but like I know she likes me now thanks to GAG! also now that she pretty much can't even hide it anymore, she ran up to me today handed me my paystub and literally was about to hug me, but I think she doesn't want to come on too strong, even though it's just obvious anymore, I always suspected she likes me, but now she can't even hide it we are getting tattoos together on her birthday lol
I'm okay with any hug, but I have the tendency to do the "Bro hug" where you hug and you tap them like 3 times on the back because you want them to let you go. 😂
i love giving girls the finally back home hug and lifting them up they seem to like it to, and i love the sly booty grab during the please forgive me for cheating hug need to try that, not the cheating part the booty grab lol!!
I love hugs with people I love but I never actually hugged anyone from my family, nor they tried to hug me. I guess it just won't work in our family. :|
probably all of them at one time or another mostly I just do a handshake, hugs are reserved for close friends and i've known for a long time friends only o and girlfriend obviously.
