Me and my boyfriend have been together for roughly 8 months.The night we met, he was there with his best friend Liam who made up with one of my friends.(afterwards we just found that he has a fiancee called Amy)
My problem is that my boyfriends ex-girlfriend and my boyfriends bestfriend Liam and his fiancee Amy are all really close friends. The thing that is bothering me is that Liam and Amy and all especially the other '' female'' friends in this friend circle don't seem to be keen to meet me.
My boyfriend said that they are just too close to his ex girlfriend and they don't want to disrespect her. My concern is just whenever my boyfriend goes out with all of his friends, even when his ex-girlfriend is not there, I'm never invited. My bf said tht he doesn't want me to feel uncomfortable and dont want them to compare me to his ex. I met two other male friend of my boyfriend and they totally liked me.
I also think that the girls might think that I'm the ''bad'' person because my boyfriend just dated me shortly after his girlfriend broke up with him. And I heard many reactions from his female friends sayin to him ''if it wasn't too early''? I think my bf doesn't want any tensed situation and he prob can't be bothered with all that stress.
(And I've already met his Family, and its also offical ( also on FB). I know that all of his friends know about me, so I really don't think that he's still with his Ex or that he's hiding something from me.)
I just know how stupid it is if your friends aren't supporting you. And I think it is a bit disrespectful to my BF too if they ignore his girlfriend and his relationship. I really don't know what to do? Shall I just live with this situation and accept that I'm goin to be left out of his friends circle?
