Boyfriend Won't Dance with Me!

My serious boyfriend is great, but both of us are very stubborn. I usually cooperate, just because I don't take most arguments that seriously, and so does he. I want to have fun together and with our friends, and so does he. Neither of us are party animals, either. But he REFUSES to do the one thing that I love to do and that I really want to do with him. He will not dance!

I'm not talking about anything that guys usually balk at (i.e. no ballet or Irish dancing), but just normal guy/girl dancing, with a good song and with all our friends at a dance or something.

He WON'T! I was dancing with his cousins like idiots (even his BROTHER was having fun) and he WOULDN'T. But for me, that's sexy. That's fun. That's my shtick. I just want him to see how much I love it and how sexy it is. AND how close we'll be!

Why do women base a relationship on dancing? You don't see men whining that their girlfriend doesn't like to camp or spend time at car shows. Men don't dance, get over it. Get your girlfriends together some Friday night and have dance party and dance to your hearts content. Problem solved. Men do not consider dancing sensual or intimate like women do and we pull our hair trying to figure out why they do feel that way. Bottom line. Why would I want to get dressed up and then get all sweaty and stinky? No sane person does that.

Haha, I convinced him that I'd run with him if he would dance with me at this party we were going to. Now he's still a little hesitant, but I think now he knows that dancing with his girlfriend is definitely a perk! Thanks for asking! :)
