I agree that for the most part, you should never tell your problems to anyone. If you do, tell it to your parents, or siblings, or very close friends. As for the 20/80 thing, it sounds like it's been pulled out of the air, to be honest. It doesn't matter what the general populace thinks. Just confide in someone you trust.

On a side note, if someone comes to me asking for help with a problem, or just looking to talk, it's fine. What I can't stand is someone who whines about their problems and throws them around looking for sympathy or attention. My flatmate is like that and I often want to tell him to shut up and take it like a man. I've got my own problems and no one enjoys being burdened with the problems of others.

I agreee with just telling close family or friends. But even them sometimes, if it doesn't involve them..they probably don't really care. They'll be happy to listen and all though.

LOL, I think depressingly it is probably true. Although... Like, I help people with their problems, but with my distorted thoughts, I am glad they have them, because it builds a person, creates a person. A human can never be surplus of tragedy. The good goes into the bad, you know? A property of Xeper. So I'm glad people have problems as a general rule, but I want them to make me aware of them, LOL.

Yeahh, definately. And working class children make better music than middle class children. You can work out the metaphor there I'm sure, haha. Annd yep. And you learn more from the bad than from the good. I mean there's a reason we remember things like '8,000 dead' rather than '399184 survivors', hahaha.

yes for most people because almost every human being is unconsciously egotistical and lives for the self! For me, I'm a big giver and I like listening to people during their darkest moments, its a great feeling to be with someone, listen to their problems and feel like I've helped some one in some way even it just listening to them rant hahaa...so yes there is some people that still do care genuinely but not everyone does. Its easy to be rude and not care then it is to care and be kind, its just a shame people don't take the time to actual care.

I think it's true. People hate when you tell him good things because they get jealous. but when something bad happens to you, they are happy because it makes them feel better about themselves

I think its better to think about,how can we take care of our friends,when they are in some sort f problem and how can we help'em when they need somebody to help..if we continue to cuss about the people who do BS to us,these percentages will remain the same..lets show these kinda people that we are not like'em ..am I rite,friends?

I think there is some truth to that, except that there are some people who legitimately care. People who are really close to you (family, close friends) will probably give you honest sympathy. For the rest, they either won't care or will just feel better about themselves because you have problems and they don't.
