The fact that this question is from an anonymous pink user and the first opinion was provided by a blue anonymous user in the same age range and that opinion sounds like it's from a spanking fetishist makes me doubt whether this is a serious question, but I will respond as if it is.

Personally I don't think spanking is a good form of discipline for any child and certainly not teenagers and even if it is done, it should not be bare bottom unless you are living in a home where nudity is common and you're already naked at the time the parent decides to do the spanking and even if it is done bare bottom it should only be done by a same gender parent. There's just too much sexual connotation in bare bottom spankings of anyone post-puberty.

Some people, both male and female, enjoy bare bottom or fully nude spankings as a sexual activity and I think that's fine, but I think it is inappropriate as a discipline method for a child especially when done by the opposite gender parent because of the sexual aspect.

After reading your other responses, it sounds like the spanking wasn't the worst of the problems. Spanking at least is a relatively common way of disciplining children. I personally don't like it, but a lot of people do it. The other things you described sound like child abuse to me. I don't think it's unusual at all that they made you lie to social services. I think that's a common thing abusers do.

Overall how are you feeling about this now that you're a young adult? I'm sure it's had some effect on your mental health. I don't see how it couldn't. How much though? I hope you will seek counseling if you need it. You should not be condemned to an unhappy life because of how your parents treated you. Counseling might help you deal with it so you can break free of that and have a happy life.

I wouldn't worry too much about the spanking fetish. I think it's fairly common for people to find things that were traumatic for them during childhood to be sexually arousing in adulthood and spanking during sexual activity with a partner is not an uncommon thing so I don't think that's anything to worry about. Are the spankings that sexually excite you similar to the ones you got as a kid? If so, then my guess is that there's a connection.

When you say you "like to be hit during sex" are you talking about being spanked on your bottom until it's stinging and red (which I think is fine and can be part of a healthy sexual relationships) or are you talking about being spanked to the point where you are bruised or bleeding or beaten on other parts of your body (which I think is not healthy)?
