Why do people make you out to be a loser if you don't have any friends?

Question

In my life making money & being low key is all that I need

As long as I bring in DOUGH & live drama free then it's allí good

People think less of me simply because I don't have friends as in people who are just there for chitter chatter & nothing else

I'd rather have PARTNERS than FRIENDS to help me make BIG DOUGH

I believe people are afraid of their vulnerability. Trust me you are not ALONE in this no friends game. I have a wide net of acquaintances and this whole COVID- 19 is putting a stall on developing those into friendships. Look I had 2 friends in the last city I used to live in, recently moved. One girlfriend turned out to be a "Friend-enemy" I called her out on something shady she did. My other friend who was also friends with the fake friend wasn't really on my side either and didn't think she did anything wrong. I eventually stooped texting the fake friend, she disappeared. The other friend I ended up blocking her and ending that friendship. She was toxic and not happy for my success.

Friends who support and are happy for your happiness is sometimes a rare thing. I was really close to the friend I ended up terminating, but her and I had grown apart and had separate interests. It's only natural to outgrow friends, you should! because that is proof that you are growing and expanding. Don't let anyone hold you back in life.

Well, if you're on a forum like this one then you're probably an introvert. Unfortunately, if you're an introvert, and I know I am, too, you will be in the minority, and extroverts will simply think that there's something wrong with you because you're not like them.

I'm sort of the same way. I left high school a year and a half early to start an online business which actually became pretty profitable. My closest friends for a long time were people I met through my little online business. I have more friends now, but they are all coworkers so we have the same interestest.

I'm sure you'll find people you like someday.

People see a lot of friends as social status, but this isn't true. An extroverted person is usually much more successful in making friends, but these are opportunistic friends.
Kindest person in meet in last years has only her sister as very close friend, she doesn't like people who just talk with her if they need something. I'm different, I know I have to allow abuse me sometimes in small extent (like a home party with freed drinks) for the sake of sustaining of my shallow friendships. Sometime I get back what I invest but I don't really expect that. Friends aren't a surplus business, they are rather a hobby.

People often perceive people with no friends as unlikable since they assume that is the reason for the lack of friends. It's very uncommon for someone to not want any friends at all, so it probably boggles their mind.

I am the opposite, I do not want a partner, but I do want friends (though I do prefer to keep my circle pretty small). People honestly think I'm pretty weird for not wanting a relationship, and I've had people act like they're better than me because I'm single and they're not, and there's a surprising amount of people who think being single is always a negative thing. I guess they can't imagine willingly being alone and may even fear being alone, so they find it very strange when someone is okay with it or prefers it that way, and people tend to not like what they don't understand.

OMG! Well, I certainly see why you want to be anonymous. How sad for you! You might love your money, but I promise you, your money will NEVER love you back! Also, wealth, is so easily lost... even if through no fault of you. Recession, depression, technology replacing you, international financial collapse, ALL could wipe you out... But friends, friendship, children, the love of a woman who ARORES you! Those intangibles, are what make life actually great! When i volunteered at the hospital, i would sit with the dying elderly patients. They all had regrets. But not regrets for things they did, regrets for the things they did not do! They regret not traveling, or not asking a certain person on a date, or regret not saying yes to a person who did... NOT ONE, EVER regretted not making enough money, or not spending enough time at work, but they all regretted not spending enough time with family. And Sir. When your life is at an end... Because people who dont have friends are looked at as being antisocial and some may think that there is something wrong with them.

For me, I make a lot of friendly acquaintances, but I dont have friend friends.

My best friend is my twin sister and my olderbsoster is also a friend. I just haven't found person outside my family I connect real close with. But, I'm a friendly person and can make friendly acquaintances everywhere I go, so a lot of people have good things to say about me.

It's one thing to not have friends because you lack the desire for them and didn't bother making effort for that reason. It's another thing to not have friends even though you want to and tried many times. Most people would assume for the latter case that people don't like you because they think you're a jerk or you're too weird. It's just an automatic thought most people have. They assume that everyone has the need for friends and desire to belong.

All you have is yourself be dependent it’s good to be like that. Don’t sell yourself short and don’t speak so low of yourself. You are who you think you are. People really don’t care about you. Only a few people matter and they care. Keep your money for yourself and give back sometimes. Some day you will have a wife or husband to be with and if you don’t decide to get married that’s okay. Humans are social creatures by and large. If you aren’t, then you’re an outlier and that’s fine, but social creatures will define success by your social circle. If people like you and want to be around you, then you’re doing well. If not, then you’re a loser, and doubly so because the primary reason social creatures seek wealth is for social acceptance, and you don’t have that even with the wealth.
