My crush broke up with his girlfriend 2 weeks ago. Now what?

The guy I like had a girlfriend, so we were talking for a few weeks as friends[but still very flirty], and one day he asked me "what if?" as in what if he didn't have a girlfriend. I told him how I felt that I really liked him and at first when I asked him how he felt about me he said "I just felt good about your answer." And then I said "But what does that mean? Is it just that you like the attention? Cause I get that, it's always nice to have someone like you even if you don't like them back. " And then I asked him to be more specific. In turn he said "You're a really good girl and if I didn't have a girlfriend then maybe there would be something, but since I do I don't look into it." So, my question to you guys is.. what does this mean? He broke up with his girlfriend about two weeks ago, but has since stopped initiating conversations[after doing so almost every day before when we talked], so do I still have a chance? Or was he just playing me at the time and is honestly not interested? I’ve barely talked to him in to him in the two weeks since, but when I have tried to initiate he still responds back to what I am saying so this confuses me as well? It scares me, because I've known from the start that he's a flirt!

He could still like you that way, but with the recent break up he might still be reevaluating things out. He could just like the attention too. I'd try talking to him and asking how he's doing. Maybe he'll come around and eventually ask you out.

The few times we have talked since I have initiated the conversations. One time I did mention her, I was like "You really miss her don't you?" and at first he was like "who?" and then I said his gf's name and he was like "nah." So then I go, well what have all the status' been about lately? And he said "a good song." I asked him if he was lying to me and he said no..So if he's telling the truth and doesn't really miss her then I don't see why he stopped talking to me. At first I just thought he

needed some space,but in the 2 weeks since we've talked a few times and he's only initiated once. One morning I was up early and on Fb and he chatted me saying he "vomned last night." Now he's random so this wasn't completely out of the ordinary for him, but I couldn't help by think that he only messaged me cause he was probably still hungover. Anyways, what I guess I'd really like to know then is do you think it's okay to Fb chat him like he always used to do to me? I feel like I'm bugging him.

I know where you're getting at. I'd just see where FB leads and if you get the feeling that it is on the verge of bugging him, then I'd move on and hope he recovers and eventually comes back to you for guidance and then maybe a relationship. Sometimes guys just need their space after a break up too.
