What happened with my crush? Has he moved on?

So, I like this guy at my school, and when we first met, we used to talk all the time. He used to flirt with me, and he used to get jealous when I talk to other guys, he used to imitate me, like if I said "Oh my goooodd!" He'd be like: "Oh my goooodd!" and stuff like that. He's really funny and smart, but kinda shy when it comes to love. A few months ago, my friend went up to him everyday like "Where's your girlfriend?" and he looked at me. But then a few days later he just stopped talking to me. Just stopped. I want to know why he stopped talking! We used to be the biggest social butterflies ever. But now we're lucky if we get to 10 words a week. Sometimes, at school he would give glances at me, but when I look he'd look away. What happened?

This is my second question. My friends have been asking me to do this so we can figure out if he likes me: When I act all sad and depressed around my crush just to see if he cares about me. Should I do it?

I think all the comments about you being his girlfriend scared him away. It sounds like he may have liked you and was being a flirt. It was mostly for fun and he didn't want anything serious.

I don't think that is a very good idea honestly. You want to emulate confidence and happiness. People gravitate toward someone like that. You would be more likely to resurface his feelings for you this way.
