Does walking away from a bully make you a weak person?

It’s this girl who don’t like my big sister decided to pick with me online. I didn’t know she existed until she sent me a friend request. When she wrote me a nasty message I responded back with a positive response and blocked her. she had everyone laughing at me. I have always been bullied in my life so it did hurt my feelings to know an older woman is picking with me. she always create drama with others, and have people laughing at you but don’t wanna take responsibility for what she doing. She creates drama and don’t ever wanna fight or take responsibility for her actions. now tables have turned and her family especially little sister is being bullied. Did I handle her right? She like to use people for her own personal gain that could get someone hurt. I’m tired of people picking with me that I’m very defensive now. Im just tired

Because I don’t like people bothering me. I been through enough traumatic experiences it wasn’t worth it. according to others she has a history of creating drama but don’t wanna fight but instead pretend to be the positive person in situations. I blocked her and got off social media. I’m not a social media person but much of a sheltered person.
