Fun fact about blood/donation: There is no just A, B or O, all blood is either + or - because that + and - are referring to the Rh factor in the blood, whether it is present (+) or absent (-). It's a big deal with pregnant people if they're Rh- and the baby is Rh+. And it matters for who you can donate to, notices how only Rh- people can donate to other Rh- people. It's the same thing with blood types - A and B are both types of blood, think of it as a particular kind of puzzle piece, you body produces a puzzle piece, so if different pieces are introduced than what your body makes, it'll be disastrous. However, O is nothing. It's no type. Instead of puzzle pieces it makes little squares that fit no matter where you put them, they're a blank slate. It's why they can give to everyone, but A and B are more limited.
To the point: Anyway, I'm O- and I donate blood, plasma or double reds depending on what's needed that day and when my last donation was.
