Whatever happened to working things out? It is possible to have arguments and still come to an agreement and remain friends/together. Why have our communication skills seemingly gone to shit in the past 20 years?

  I also ask myself should I take this serious, maybe the other person is going through stuff and not emotionally in a good space. Just lashing out. Its tough not to take something personal tbh. Gets better with age?

  I'll give you that, that is a good question. Why give up so easily? It is different if they are personal friends that you see all of the time vs online friends that you only talk to now and then. People you see and talk to you know what they are saying and what they mean by what they say. Online friend it is sometimes hard to tell what is really going on with the things they are saying.
