It depends on the definition, but I see what you're saying. According to Merriam-Webster, an uncle is "the brother of one's father or mother." It doesn't state or ineicate that the uncle in question needs to be someone different from youself. So yes, your dad is his own uncle. And you would be both grandkids and nieces/nephews to his dad.
And as an additional note, Merriam-Webster also indicates the husband of one's aunt or uncle is also an uncle. So the quality if being qn uncle does appear to be lposely defined, thus validating your dad being his own uncle.

Yup. Something happened to me. Adopted by father's parents (my grandparents) so my father is my brother; my uncles are my brothers, my cousins are my nieces and nephews, and I'm an uncle to myself.
well i think that your grandpa doesn't look at your dad as his brother but more as his kid since he is his kid. Legally yes, you would probably be his nieces and nephews but i dont think he'll think of it like that. So i'd say grandkids. And yes technically he would be his own uncle.

It is possible. also possible to be your own grandfather.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/CkVavXO-iucReally creative way of thinking like this but his grandma would adopt him as grandson right? Because they already have a relation of grandma and grandson so there is no need to create a relation of mom and son.
My ex wide adopted her nephew because her brother went to jail and his son was about to be put into the foster system. So her nephew became her son and her kids cousin became their brother. So for him his cousins became his brothers and sisters and his aunt became his mother...
I think the Holy Modal Rounders might have something to say about this...
I get the feeling your family tree doesn't branch out much, lol.
If he bounces himself on his lap and tickles himself till he pees... then yes. He is his own uncle
No way
