Whose life would you save if they were in danger considering they are all strangers to you?

A woman, a baby and a pet are in danger. The situation doesn't matter. You can save only one of them. Whom would you save? Whose life matters to you the most?

It depends on what kind of pet it was. Is it fuzzy and cute? Then I would save it over the others. If not then I wouldn't save any of them. I'm on a break, I don't have time to save them. :P
Seriously though, seeing how society has been lately, I am more inclined to let people die if I don't already know them and care about them. Some of the people I do know, I wouldn't even spent $10 to save their lives either.

On the internet, I'd SAY I'd only save the dog's life because people suck.

Realistically, the baby would be the one I'd most save, because it has the most life left to live. The woman might have survivor's guilt if I saved her, and the dog/pet probably wouldn't care.

I'd save the baby, for a couple reasons:

1. The woman and the pet have the ability to save themselves while the baby is helpless and needs others to save them.

2. The baby has more years of life ahead of them than does either the woman or the pet. Hard choice, but the baby is more likely to be a better benefit to society than teh others.

I would save myself. The rest is for emergency workers. That’s what I pay my taxes for. Im trained to deal with that. I could make the situation worse. But I think the morally correct answer to this question is the babies.
