My sister is insane and my parents don't believe me, what do I do?

My sister is only 14, but she is a maniac. She regularly threatens to kill me with knives or blunt objects, and has a particular liking for threatening to "pop" my balls.

I have tried speaking to my parents about this but she always makes sure to do it when we are alone or out of earshot, so to them she is their perfect little girl and I must be exaggerating or making it up. This is despite the fact she has gotten into fistfights with other girls at school numerous times, and sent a senior to the emergency room with fractured testicles.

They seem hell bent on ignoring her behaviour, and I don't have any option of moving out any time soon. My only idea is to try to record one of her threats, but there's no way to tell when she'll do it and I don't really want to egg her on.

I would appreciate any advice.

I trust your opinion. I also know brother sister relationships and there's part of this you're not telling us. I suggest what you do is you take your mother aside in confidence and simply expressed that you're worried about her future and you don't want to have to go visit her in prison for twenty years. Your sister appears to have a little bit too much testosterone and not be metabolizing it well. What she needs is a long-term relationship with a large tougher person. Like the punk person here.

Try recording the audio on your phone when she starts. Then play it back for your parents. My older sister would always go for my nuts all the time my mother never believed me either. She's 5 years older than me. Your sister sounds like she's really out of control! Hope she never does it.

That sucks man, thankfully my sister has only acted on it a handful of times - I think she realises that if she harms me in any real way it would force our parents to confront her, so she hasn't (at least not yet).

I do plan to record her, so fingers crossed!

She has only went for my balls a handful of times, I think she understands that if she actually harmed me in any considerable way it would force our parents to confront the situation... that said, I do fear that she may one day act on her threats. Walking around with a cup 24/7 seems like overkill though.

I'm going to try to catch her on film but my hopes aren't high, honestly.
