Do you think this woman is really nasty?

So my best friemd is 24 and she started a new office job. She was working alongside a woman who was 50. Her and the woman would have to work very closely together and she had a lot to learn for the role so she would be very dependant on the woman. The woman was very nasty to her. Everything that my friend asked the woman would just sigh or give her a smart answer or answer her like she was stupid. Every person that this woman communicated with in the office she would make a comment about them to my friend after they walked out. She was saying things to my friend like "I thought they woukd of hired someone who knew this" and "For some reason the managers saw something in you and thought you could do this". My friend sent an email to her manager to help her get access to an app that the woman told her she must do and the woman was picking apart the email and told her she needed to just request access when she never told my friemd that. The woman would get her to do jobs knowing she did not know how to do them and then picking her apart when she did them wrong. It was my friends birthday at the weekend and when she returned on the Monday the woman didn't even say hello or ask her how her birthday was she just gave her a face and complained about the work she must do. My friend quit in this environment after 4 days of being around this woman. The management were all working from home so my friend had noone to go to. She is really upset. Do you think this woman is really nasty?
