I think I would but if I could afford it, I’d put it all in savings for when they move out
Im paying £250 a month on my £500, been the way since I was 16
If you are going to school to improve your future, they probably shouldn't be charging you rent. If not, you should be able to earn enough to pay $200 in rent. You are an adult.
Its to encourage you to move out. I disagree with doing this for a female. Keep her home as long as possible until she has a husband.
Get you a side hustle that makes you money while you sleep.
Think outside the box if you don't wanna be poor
This seems ridiculous and heartless. Treat your child like a family member, not like a stranger tf?
No unless they feel since they are adults they can disrespect me in my own home.
Your parents, being capitalists, consider you just another resource and a low-wage worker.
I personally wouldn't, but I don't think it's unreasonable for parents to do that.
Charge rent? I'm planning to chuck them out altogether at 18!
Depends if they are school/college no if they lay around I would If I were to have children.
They were just greedy and gouging you, is all.
Yup I charge my kids rent🤷♀️
This would depend on the situation
Seems kinda green don't it
I believe it worked positively on yal 😜😜😜
Nope. If I had kids I'd let them save their money.
I wouldn’t do it if they were in school.
I don’t think so that’s not really fair to them
im paying rent, im over 18
No I’m Greek lol they can stay forever 😂
my parents did, unless i was in school
Lol good luck on that one
If they are not in school; he’ll yes
Yes, pay rent or move out.
Yeap.
No never.
Definitely.
Yes.
It's not necessary
