Guys: Is it weird that my brother slaps my butt?

I have a big butt and ever since I can remember my mom, my aunts and my older brother would slap my butt. It has always been “normal” to me because they are family and they have always done it without maliciousness. Anyway, today I had a soccer match and I score the winning goal of the game, so when the game was over my brother came over and gave me a hug to congratulate me. He hugged, grabbed and slapped my butt hard real quick and It hurt and I said to him “what f is wrong with you?” I was pissed and he was just laughing…nothing out of the ordinary to me. As I turned, I saw the guy I like looking at us and he just kept looking. And now, I wonder if he though that was weird…so guys, is it weird if my brother slaps my butt?

Are you really ~30 yo? I think it would be more acceptable if you two were younger, but it's kind of weird to be still doing this to your own sister at that age. But i think it's still a bit weird at any age. Even if it's just a playful thing. And doing it in front of others is really odd lol.

I know about the baseball ass slapping thing in the US, so i guess it is a thing lol, but i always found that weird, especially because it's just men doing that to men.

If i saw that, i would also think your brother is your boyfriend. And after i learn that he is your brother, i would think about what else you two could be doing with each other, if you do this publicly.

If you don't speak with that guy you like, he probably won't aproach you now lol. So it's on you now if you want to get to know him.

You should speak with your brother about this, if you are ok with him still doing this to you, at least tell him to not do it publicly in front of others.

I’m 32 😳and I had no idea about the “baseball ass slapping thing”, at least I wasn’t aware of it. And I’ve talked to my brother about it because it really pisses me off but he is such a clown that he does it with that purpose. Yeah we are old already but we have always been very close I guess is because we have no more family left, is just us.

We work in the same place and it’s why we are always together. He has a family already, I get along with my sister in law and I love my niece.
