Why is it so hard to make friends?

I’m always a outcast or singled out from a group. In high school I had no friends. The friends I did make, I only hung out with for a few weeks then boom, they move to another school in another state. EVERY friend I made in high school moved to another state shortly after becoming friends. Graduated… This is still happening now and I don’t get it. At my job the coworkers I have woke with for years have their own group and single me out. We hire some new coworkers who I finally get along with and have someone to talk to get moved to another department. Is it bad luck?

Find the right circle or people with same interests. I barely have any people I can call friends which I barely have any contact now cos Imoved out of the country but I do have plenty of acquaintance.

I guess you can find those friends by continuously interacting and someday some people will 'hit' it with you. Do note to differ acquaintance and friends. Having real friends this days are rare.

Maybe try some app? When my sister was new to the country she tried to find friends in an app She met many people but she clicked with this one girl and they occassionaly meet up. In the end it comes down to interests and how you clicked.
