When is it not awkward to ask to hang out as freinds?

Maybe I'm just dumb or naive but the story is went on two dates with this girl we have a lot in common but she said she just wants to be freinds. Which I'm OK with no big deal. Since she said that she has since added me on tik tok , snap , insta. Communication previous was on fb messenger. Anyways I got free tickets to an event coming up since we have mutual intrest I thought she would like to go as freinds. My question is how to ask and it not be awkward should I specify do you want to go as just freinds or is it a dumb idea all around? I should add that we do have to see each other almost daily due to our jobs ( not the same job but they intersect each other)
