Will I seem needy if I’m always the one asking to hangout?

I’ve been seeing this guy for almost 3 months now and at the start we would mutually ask each other to hangout (we see each other 2-3 times a week) however in the past month and a half I find it’s always me initiating hanging out. Is this a bad thing? He normally always comes over and I go there, he never has excuses to not hangout I’m just unsure if me always being the one to ask will seem clingy.
yesterday he also wasn’t available to come over because he worked super early the next day but would it be too soon to ask again tomorrow?

what would guys consider clingy/needy?

If you're just asking to hang out, once a day maybe or a couple of times a week, then you're nowhere near being needy. If you double triple text them? That's a bad sign. if You are consistently trying to force them to be alone, or overly relying on them for everything then yeah that's being needy. I think you're doing all right though.

It sounds like he's just shit at initiating. You could try and hold off from initiating, and see how long it takes him to want to hang out with you. But that also might just make him think you're not interested anymore and he will just not show up. Which ultimately probably a good thing, it'll hurt but you should want to be with someone who wants to be with you, not be someone who is always reaching out and having to be the one making the plan

If you’re always the one to ask maybe he doesn’t ask to hang out because you don’t give him time to miss you or he’s probably accustom hanging out with you every time you ask. I don’t think it’s clingy unless he finds other ways to avoid seeing you. But if you really want to not feel like you’re being clingy just don’t ask to hang out and see if he’ll miss you and ask instead ;) hope this helps
