Lol, your mother sounds like mine.

Some parents will do things like this just because you're in a weaker power position than them. She just wants to guilt and gaslight you, because she enjoys your pain and discomfort.

At least, if your mother is just like mine, that's what it is. It might not even be conscious, she might just do so reflexively and with no self-control because she just wants someone else to feel as miserable as she does.

Never accept money or gifts from her in the future and consider going no contact as soon as you can.
