I MIGHT be going to an online high school away from my AMAZING friends. I've moved schools enough already! Help me?

Literally me right now :(

I'm an 8th grader in 2022, and I have moved schools SO MUCH in my lifetime. I always find friends but then lose them, like I usually get 1 friend group every 1-2 years. No joke. But in 7th grade, I found awesome friends like no other. And I'm especially scared to lose them.

And now my mom says she found an online high school I'm probably gonna attend next year. AWAY from my friends again. I'm gonna miss them so much!! And I can't get their contacts because I don't have a phone, plus they don't get internet at their houses. And these guys are over-the-top cool and awesome, so it's not the usual "bye, have a good life. gotta move."

I finally find really good friends, and now I have to play musical schools again!

It's not a 100% chance, but it's really high, like 85%.

I know I should be used to losing friends, but I just can't get used to it. I'm so sick of change! What should I do?

Is friends forever too much to hope for?

Well, since direct contact is pretty restricted on their end, you can always do things the old school way (pardon the pun) of writing to them and sending it by mail. Now, how they feel about that, if they wanna do it, is going to be another thing.
