Why are people like this?

People that were in my high school class or all through school never liked me years later I go for trade school. I guess some people from that state I went to knew people from my area so I get a girl telling me she heard about me. so I know it’s them spreading rumors about me I haven’t been to school in years and it’s like they get joy. me being down but if something good happens in my life they get mad it’s like they want to distroy my life. I haven’t done anything my years of school with them they just made fun of me I was shy. so had to cut them off can’t have people who dislike you just because of someone else. if you believe the rumors or knew them before me in life then you can have them I don’t need em. I got kicked out anyway so I guess it was a blessing in disguise because after I got rid of all these toxic people. it was a weight off my shoulders so now working on my GED to go into military hopefully start fresh. and some of the rumors may be true but rumors are little stuff people use to destroy your image. So why fake friends even let people talk down about me I don’t know I haven’t done anything to them.
