Men with daughters, did you ever let your daughters paint your finger nails?

So I been wearing nail polish over 30 years.

It all started when my oldest daughter turned 3 or so. Her mom would never let her paint her nails. So I would let her paint mine. I have 5 daughters and everyone of them painted my nails. Over the years I ended up liked having them painted. I even painted them on my own sometimes.

Now my grandkids are painting my nails. I find it harmless, fun and great way to bond with your child.

Just the other day my daughter came over (now 32 years old) and she reached into her bag and started painting my nails. Like she did when was little. Durning the whole time she painted my nails we talked and drank coffee. We mostly talked about the old days and what's going on in her life now

So I see nothing wrong with a dad with painted finger nails

Well! I don't have a daughter, but i have god daughters and we always paint our nails togther, so far (the oldest is 14) because when she is gonna get older and finds everything ewwy some day.

Thanks for the idea. Daughter and I go to nail salon weekly to be pampered.

If we have time, we will paint his nails or toe nails when he naps next time :)... all fun no harm.

My youngest daughter just read what you wrote and she has an idea

Include dad to the nail salon even if its just a plain mens manicure or a pedi.

Its a way for him to bond with the girls in his life.

One day will all will leave this Earth, why not find ways to bond. It will create fond memories for life

He has been invited often. One day.. hopefully soon…(I’ll let u know) when he gets over that it’s a girls thing…sigh.

I thought this was an interesting question to answer…. No since I don’t have daughters.

Though hypothetically if she wanted to paint my nails, I’d let her since it is an expression of creativity & art & passion also it is just nails I can remove it afterwards and the men I know won’t cast judgement with their eyes. I even said the same if my girlfriend wanted to because why not, doesn’t hurt anyone and gets her practice in.
