Do small children's (2 to 10-12) erratic behaviour and occasional embarrassing responses reflect their parents' teachings/shared values?

this is a very and highly subjective situation...

strictly speaking, small children are erratic by nature... they are kids, they're exploring, they are experimenting and experiencing, they are learning

you cannot expect small children to behave like a disciplined and consistent, well learned adult would have to act, also, you cannot expect small children to know better about social cues, norms and rules...

so, if we think infants are embarrassing, or a shame... and/our out of control or their senses, we're just being harsh on judging kids, lol

now... if you mean spoiled-rotten kids, then yes... those are always the parent's doing or not doing, both, lol

A parent's control and influence over a child start to diminish as soon as the child interacts with someone outside the family. By the time they are in first grade, parental influence has been substantially eroded.
