My brother has said horrible, insensitive things to me over the years but no one in my family seems to understand. What should I do?

Once I cut him off a few years ago for some mean comments he made to me and then he texted me a year later saying that if I cut him off ever again he “reserves the right to kill me.” He also texted me a lot about how trump won the past election and about how Covid is fake. He also said he doesn’t really care if anything happened to my mom or if she died. He also said that he hopes all the vulnerable people would die from Covid so we can resume back to normal. He shames me for having depression and said whatever I’m going through can’t be as bad as what he’s been through. He’s honestly an idiot and he’s 35, couldn’t even finish anything he started. I genuinely think he might be a sociopath/psychopath and I’m scared. Sometimes he’s really nice but it’s rare.

Then u would call the police or if u actually think he will show proof that he has threatened you and get a court order

Good idea. I have so much going on in my life in addition to this and feel drained.
