Yes, I particularly like how he respects her choice of clothing and doesn't try to force his Conservative values upon her.
Similarly she's aware that even though their on the beach he's got body issues and doesn't want to strip off like other dads.

Why would she go with this outfit? It feels not really apropriate for a father daughter picture and most importantly its doesn't fit with the movies! Vader never saw her in that he only saw her in her princess dress.

That be a great pic for father/daughter fans of star wars. But it's ludicrous to think either would be comfortable in that 70's beach chair!

Yeah, I mean think about it. Padme stole his kids and hid his kids from him. Yet here he is after all those years. Trying to make up for lost time and build a relationship. Padme orphaned them essentially.
