I lost both my parents at the tender age of six, therefore I cherish and safeguard still having both of my grandmothers together as a collective support system in my life. I literally wouldn't be, if not for their countless contributions to my everyday existence.
As long as they remain with me on this earth,
I will see that their every financial need is met.

As to answer your question, yes. I put a close friend of mine and my father above my wishes, needs and wants.

He is! One of a kind. He has so many good qualities in him, I could go on but what made me want him to be my close friend is the fact that he met me when I was at my worst. This person came as a friend in my life made me feel stronger and realise that life could get better. So, yeah, he put up with lot of things when I was depressed and he could have given up but no. He stayed with me like a true friend and often tries makes me smile and laugh no matter what. Friends like these are hard to find in today's word.

If I was in desperate conditions, I don’t think anybody would trump my own needs and wants but if my discomfort is mild, then there are people I would choose over my own self interest.
