Well, a lot of Gen X, Millenials, and Gen Z folks still live with their parents so.. or they are really THAT dependent on family and what they think. It makes sense when most of the world is kinda against you. have you seen people online? Lol, usually it's 50/50 give or take when you ask the online community, you get a lot of jerks or assholes that just go to your question to insult. I am speaking mainly from experience. Not just with this site but others over plenty of years. Very immature people spewing their hate and anger on innocent people.

@Alwayreckles93 i don't listen to my mom on everything, but do you have a good relationship with your parents? Does your family have your back? Does your SO interact with your parents? Because, my mother has always had my back, i have a good relationship with my mom, and i do plan on my SO interacting with my family, because its pretty common... but also shitty people will talk shite behind peoples back while saying sweet things to you face. It does not make me less of an adult by trusting my mother who calls people out on their bullshite and has my back.
