Scary behavior during menopause? what are some ways to help my mother during this time?

my mom is 52 and is currently going through menopause. she has been dealing with that for almost a year now and it doesn’t seem to be getting better, she still has her period but mentally she has been acting weird super weird. she asks me the same things over and over, confuses things like where she placed stuff and starts fights about it and today me her and my sister were at a checkout at a store and there was this teenager with her baby sitting on the counter when my mother started touching the baby and tried to pick him up the mother was uncomfortable but didn’t say anything. when i saw what she was doing i rushed over and told her “no, we don’t pick other people’s babies” and she simple turned around and started walking as if nothing had happened. she gets all wet super quickly from the sweats she gets randomly, she says her mind is confused and she gets so overwhelmed that she sometimes wants to cry. she went to the doctor a bunch of times now and they always send her back with vitamins saying she’s not experiencing anything out of this world but certain behaviors of her scare me so much. what do i do?
