Should I be concerned by my sister driving barefoot or in flip flop?

My little sister just got her driving licence and she always drives the car without shoes or with flip flop. I told her it may be dangerous but she doesn't care because she doesn't want to wear "real" shoes.

I tried to convince her to leave an old sneaker on the car to at least cover her right foot but she did in once to please me and never wore it again.

Could you try talking to her again and see if you can find a way to reason with her? It may be helpful to explain her the potential risks associated with wearing flip-flops while driving, such as the possibility of them getting caught in the pedals or causing her foot to slip off, delaying her ability to react quickly, etc. She is not only putting herself in danger, but others too.

Yes I keep explaining her bit it will take time before she tells me she doesn't like the feeling of driving with shoes

don't get in the car with her. If she wants to fuck up and die, leave her to it.

Driving in flipflops is the worst choice. Het foot might slip or her flipflop can get stuck and she can have a car accident. I don't know how to convince her. Maybe try to say something like - if she wears flip-flops again, you will tell that to insurance company and they will charge more for car insurance and she will be paying it.

Driving barefoot is no problem at all, I have been doing that dozens of times in the summer. Driving in flip-flops is probably not the smartest thing, however.
