Why do people from certain countries or cultures let their parents run their lives after reaching adulthood?

I'm at witness this often, but I do think in many other cultures in the world, much older cultures versus what we have here in the United States, there is a great deal of respect for older generations, as well as the desire to still include them in many common family affairs and decisions.

Yeah I get that but there's a time when you have to let them become adults

because they're for closer and more cooperative family ties and bonds... and that's how it has mostly, worked for most of them... or they would have quit it decades ago

I for, example, have been independent and financially supporting my parents ever since I was 21.

I have lived on my own since I was 20. I truly wish, they were more self-sufficient. But I love them as they are, so there’s not much I can do.
