Am I selfish because of my perspective on human relationships?

I was raised in a religious home where they taught me that family is very important and a priority. If a family member whom I appreciated asked me for a favor (as long as it did not alter my personal integrity? I would not hesitate to help them. Since I was little they made me see love as something mutual (in my belief, selfless love could not exist, in any of its facets) and I do not mean getting something in return, I mean that the person to whom one gives it is also reciprocal, otherwise Being reciprocal is not acceptable, on the other hand, I take esteem from people who prove to be genuine and who genuinely have esteem for me.

It's not that I expect anything in return, but I am faithful as a dog and when I love a person, I would never be able to betray them and I don't think it would be from an interested person to receive the same.

And finally, I like to give priority to trusted people who have shown me to be genuine and would never be replaceable by any alternative with hypocritical people or people who do not demonstrate the same loyalty. A person who betrays is automatically forgotten, no matter how special he or she was to me, and I have always looked for people who are like-minded in the idea that union and mutual respect are important.

Is there something else in my way of thinking?
