For a son, a father figure is important more than a mother figure since thats what most people said,
how about a daughter? whats worse for her, being fatherless or motherless

That's a really tough question. Honestly, I think for a daughter it might be just as bad losing either parent.
If she loses her mom, that's gotta be so hard. Like your mom is usually the one you go to for like emotional support and advice on girl stuff, you know? Not having her around could really mess a daughter up I feel like.
But losing your dad is awful too. Even though their relationship might be different than with their mom, daughters still really look up to and need their fathers. He plays such an important role in how she views men and relationships as she grows up.
I guess if I had to pick, I'd say maybe losing your mom might be slightly worse for a daughter just because of all the extra mom-daughter stuff they go through. But really it just sucks either way to not have one of your parents. Both parents are so important for developing self-esteem and shaping who you become.
I'd feel devastated if I lost either of my parents, so I can't imagine what that's like for a girl. Just makes me appreciate what I have even more. Hopefully she has lots of other loved ones helping her through it as best they can.
Both are equally important. I grew up from age 11 without my father. I knew he wanted me to succeed like he did, so all through school and uni, I did my best to come up to what he had hoped for me.
I don't see the difference. Fatherless or motherless the both are heartbreaking
