What's the funniest thing a friend has said/done?

I had a friend who I was very close to, we always sat together and talked together. Lunch was always fun for us (although we always ruined everybody else's appetite.) I would pick at his food, and he would eat mine. The funniest thing between us would be hard, but I think it would be us talking about a thick and long cheeto.

Tell me yours... Have you ever had a friend similar to this mine?

I have a Canadian friend who always makes hilarious mistakes with his Japanese. So in Japan, we sometimes have this type of group blind date called gōkon (合コン). It involves a random meeting between a bunch of guys who are friends with each other and a bunch of girls who are friends with each other like this:

So my Canadian friend was single and wanted to go to one, but he made a mistake. Instead of gōkon, he said "goukan". "Let's goukan!" Goukan (強姦) means "rape". So instead of saying, "Let's go on a group blind date," he said to everyone at the bar, "Let's rape!"

I also have this friend who used to own a bartender (unfortunately shut down over the pandemic). But one time a sumo wrestler came to our bar. He was huge: well over 6 feet tall and at least 300lbs.

So my bartender friend asked him what he'll have and he ordered draft beer. All of us were drinking draft beer that night now from our pint-sized mugs like this:


Yet my bartender played a prank on him and poured it to him his beer in a teeny shot glass:


So that made for a funny image with all of us teeny people compared to him drinking from our relatively huge pint-sized mugs while he gets a teeny shot glass. 😅

Maybe not so funny when I described it but it was really funny in person.

Lol, I think that's pretty darn funny. You're always descriptive of things that happens and you create a whole scene, so it's very easy to see where you're coming from.

Absolutely! I forgot some of the other ones he's made. His Japanese has improved substantially over the years. But he used to make so many vulgar mistakes like this but simultaneously said it so confidently, confusing all of us with what he meant.

One other one was "nani" (what). Normally in Japanese, a way to make a lot of nouns polite and more formal is to add "o" to them, like "osake" vs. "sake", "osushi" vs. "sushi", etc. Yet we don't do it with words like "what". If you add "o" to "nani", you get "onani-" (オナニー).

So one time he was trying to ask a girl, "What do you for hobbies?" trying to put "o" in front of "nani" to be polite. Yet he ended up asking her, "Do you like to masturbate as a hobby?"

lol, girls my age didn't want to talk about it. I had one friend who I would frequently said stupid things to... I have examples, but I'm not sure if you'd like to hear them.
And I was one that made jokes to get my friends to day "That's what she said." one time my friend and I were talking about balls. I said my dog has two balls... I hope you understand the implication of where this is going.

I think I see! 😅 About the extent of me being sexual is like saying, "I like boobs, yay!" 🙌 Then every now and then I get one of those guy friends who says, "You know what I like to do? [insert something extremely graphic]." Then I'm like, "Uhh... that's nice! Do you like zombie films?"

I've got an awesome friend who always makes me laugh, but the only joke I can remember him saying was when at lunch, I would eat something in a weird way, (like for example I would eat just the pepperoni off of the pizza, or just the crust (because the pizza itself wasn't very good, but the crust/pepperoni was)

So then he would say "want some pizza with that crust?"

It's not the funniest thing he's said, but it's the only one I can remember.

When i was in college wwe pulled all kinds of practical jokes. One that really stayed with me was we had a floor party in the dorm and a kid drank so much beer that he passed out. Somebody got a desk lamp amd yanked the electrical cord out of it. He wired the drunk kid up and soaked him in beer than plugged him in. He jumped a mile.
