Does anyone get annoyed by people who do this?

I don't like when people speak to me on here and I ask to explain what they mean and then they either ghost me or change what we were talking about.

Well yeah people are dry and don’t know how to keep a conversation going. But also keep in mind that people have lives most people just come here to talk when bored. I get annoyed witn people who feel entitled to my time. At the same time if someone just stops talking to me. So be it. Oh well…. I don’t really care.

Sometimes when I'm chatting in DM, a conversation starts, then there's a long delay between messages, so she or I send another message and then multiple threads have begun. It's tough to maintain several threads at the same time. If there's a good way to do that, I don't know what it is.

I mean yeah can get annoying though I am open to conversation & discussion. Ghosting / changing the topic is annoying too.

Do you try to stay neutral during the conversation and hear them out or do you try to control the narrative so they have to side with your opinion.

Not one person's opinion can be right all the time. There can be two correct answers.

If it's initially cordial and done in the spirit of genuine inquiry, the other person is a tool and a fool.

Ignore those who are ignorant - It comes from the same root word for a reason.

It's possible that you are asking too many questions that are annoying to answer. Sometimes it's not worth the person's time.

There's no way of knowing, but people have lives to live. They're not necessarily going to invest the time to "find out" unless you clearly make it worthwhile for them.

They don't owe you that. The burden is on you to have some social awareness and ask fewer questions unless you are actively making it worth their while.

Nope. Because I understand that a majority of the people on this site are absolutely clueless when it comes to proper social interaction. That's why many of them are here. Because most people can't tolerate them IRL.
