My other friend told me off for yelling at our friend for a joke. Why would anybody joke about your loved ones death?

So the other day my two friends and I were joking with each other and rag on each other. I mean friends especially best friends do that, otherwise are we REALLY friends?

Anyways I roasted my best friend which was all in fun games. She got me back good. She will destroy you in one sentence. Then she said something unforgivable. I said, “I’m not the one that’s giving others gray hairs”. She said, “That’s why your mother is dead.”

That was a huge shock to me. She said, “How many grey hairs did she have because you clearly killer her by making her old and got sick of cancer but she’s sick of seeing your face! You better back off of me before you give me grey hairs! STOP IT!” And she walked off. My other friend laughed so hard. She said, “I better stay away from you before you give me grey hairs.”

I was chocked up. Then my best friend said, “Hey you can’t get upset. Mommy isn’t hear to protect you anymore and she’s been dead for six months. Get over it!! YOU started all this NOT ME! Bitch! Then the girls started laughing so hard. I couldn’t believe it. I bursted into tears and ran into the bathroom.

I got told I need to stop being so damn sensitive and it was a joke. My best friend said, “It was a joke!! Stop getting so damn sensitive over it because people will joke with you, even if it’s brutal! Your mother would want you to live live and laughing. Stop looking so damn sad!” My other friend said, “Whooooooo! Man she straight up destroyed you. You gotta put up with our craziness or you can just leave.”

I don’t wanna see them anymore! My mom passed away six months ago from lung cancer and it’s still very hard and traumatizing for me. Sick of people joking with me.

That is nothing to joke about. I was at a party talking shit and a guy said he was going to fuck my mom. She had died of cancer a couple years before. I hit him in the head with a beer mug and almost killed him. I'm willing to bet neither one of those insensitive bitches you call friends had list their mom, so they didn't realize it's nothing to joke about or make light of. You're not wrong.

I was talking about your dumb "friends" and it's no excuse. That guy's mom ended up dying shortly after that. One of my friends brought him over to talk to my brother about it a few years later. He refused to believe he said such a thing, but he was really drunk and I knocked him into next week.

Many things are said in the guise of a "joke" which are actually mean spirited and intended to be hurtful." Joking" about you causing your mother's death is far beyond a joke, it is not funny in the least, and it is totally inexcusable. These people are NOT your friends.

I ended the friendship with them they told me I was being stupid and too serious. They said I’m too serious since my mother died and that’s which she’s dead because she got sick of seeing me. I cussed them out and ended everything. Those bitches are history.
