My adoption was kept a family secret behind my back kept it from me my whole life

That’s not a betrayal, that’s just acknowledging that if you, as a child, know you’re adopted it can significantly effect your psychological development in those highly critical years. It’s normal to feel lied to for them having kept that secret from you but it wasn’t necessarily to hurt you, it was done with the intention of letting you grow up as a normal kid.

They are being family to you and at the same time how they say that we are not your real family?
