What should you do about a parent who thinks that their child does no wrong?

My father thinks all I ever did was wrong and punished me severally for it. I grew up with severe shame and severely low self esteem because of him. He taught me I was a horrible child and was never wanted. I could barely leave my room without him jumping my ass about the things normal children do. Id rather have the opposite.

Start avoiding them and their kid… that’s the only option there that i’ve realised

Show undeniable evidence, and even if they dispute the motive behind their actions, get them to agree that their actions are inappropriate or you’ll be forced to discipline their child with things like summer school
