Have a guy ever rejected your hug?

Exactly what happened to me last night. Super embarrassing. I was out with my friends, we're a company of 2 guys and 2 girls. OK, I kinda like this guy friend and four of us started getting close just a few months, hanging out every week - lunch, dinner, drinks. The guys like to pick on me maybe because I've been hanging out with them since last year and I'm comfortable with them enough to say stupid but meant to be funny things. OK, so I've been crushing on this guy friend for more than a year and I know he liked me too but these days I guess not so anymore since we've friend zoned each other. Most of the time I think the chemistry is still strong between us to the point our guy friend would say that we need to get a room or something like that, including last night. Obviously, I still like him. As for him, he still teases me like crazy. He sent me home last night and like I sometimes do when the guys send me home, I wanted to give him a goodnight hug before getting out of the car. He backed away and said 'I'm not gonna hug you'. I was shocked for a moment but thought fine. Then he said 'i bet you're burned'. I was actually but said I normally give the other friend a hug and graciously got out of the car and said goodnight. Gosh. Girls, how would you feel if a guy did that to you? I felt like jumping into the drain! OK, maybe not. Just wanted to cover my face from burning. Lol. Guys, does it mean he's really really not that into me?

wow that wasn't very nice :\ maybe it gave him alittle bit of power to screw with you but either way I'd rethink liking this guy. if he wants to play games that's not a good situation to get in and it's a sign of his lack of maturity there are plenty of guys who don't wanna play games and screw with your head like that...i'm sure he's adorable and friendly and a fun guy but he sounds like an ass.

You are absolutely right. He is a jerk (and a fun guy) and I wish I don't like him. Trying my best to get over him for my own sake. I do know my worth and I deserve so much better than a BOY like that ;-) Thank you.

just stew over how he was messing with your head eventually this unattractive personality defect will overtake the infatuation with the rest. and yw ;)

OMG SAME. It was my boyfriends last day at my school and I went to hug him and say goodbye. But he just left me and kept on walking. All my friends were there and they started to yell at him because of that. 2 days went by and I broke up with him because he never talked to me. But I feel a lot better now.

He actually said "i bet you're burned" that's the funniest and dumbest thing I have ever heard come out of a guys mouth. And no it doesn't mean that he doesn't like you but I don't know what it does mean. If he didn't like you he would not give you a ride, or tease you.

By his “I bet your burned” shows me he knows you like him. If I was in your position it would feel like me reaching out to give this guy my heart and he would grab it then instantly throw it to the grown to stop on it with his shoe. “I bet your crushed”
