DIY Hair Toner For Your Blonde Hair

When you bleach your hair you probably end up with an orange/yellow color. There's a way, though you can fix that easily at home, without wasting much money.

What you'll need:

-gentian violet (available in most pharmacies)

-conditioner

-A bowl and something to mix it.

Let's get started:

Once you have your ingredients, put in the bowl the amount of conditioner you want to use and drop a few drops of the gentian violet (about 3-6 drops), mix it until it is all a nice purple color , and put it on your hair. Wait for 5 minutes and rinse out. You can also use a little more drops and let it sit on your hair for about 30 minutes to get a more violet color.

How it works:

Our toner (or homemade purple shampoo) works by using the color of gentian violet to correct the warm tones in your blonde hair.

As you see the color violet is the opposite of yellow, so what it does is canceling one the other leaving your hair with a shade close to platinum.

Notice that the amount of purple color, the time you leave it on and the brightness of your hair will all affect your results.

Blonde hair will ALWAYS damage though! thats why you won't find a blonde with nice thick hair! Unless its a straight up wig! there is an article on this too.
There i sno way to go blonde without stripping/damaging the hair follicle!!! no way! even pro hair colorists tell you this!!! blonde hair tends to lok dull/lifeless and parched!!!

I never said that bleaching your hair won't damage them. Here I explain more how to get rid of the brassiness in hair... I'm not a proffesional at all, but i 've heard that silicone treatment can make hair , like, soft and beautiful (although they say it's for your hair if you use it for long).
