You couldn't be more wrong.. I'm an insanely tall chick.. and I've liked guys as short as 5'3.. so rethink it and do not generalize every woman and who they notice.. that is what you possess so please don't make men feel terrible about something that will never change for them.
I think your wrong. I would rather date a shorter guy (I'm 4'11). I really can't understand personality being last, to me, it makes or breaks chemistry. Personally, personality would have to be first. I'd rather date an average guy with a great personality, than a hot guy who is dull.
Well, height is a factor when choosing girls too. I want a girl who's at least a little shorter than me but I have to admit... girls under 5'2 are sexier and girls under 5'0 are sexiest. I like a girl small enough to pick up and throw... not that I'd drop her on her head or anything. I'm 5'8 and strong/fit. Not quite ripped but I bench 260-275 and have a flat tummy.
personality doesn't come in dead last but I will admit , height is my first. that's what I look at or seem to notice more. I have never dated a guy under 6ft...just happens to be my prefrence or what I'm attracted to more I guess. I'm 5'2 and it makes me feel like he's big and strong when he's that much taller than my self...LOL
well I would say personality comes before nice body, money, and social status if I'm being completely honest, and social status comes before money. Height and a good face are important, but personality is definitely up there as well what's the use of having that good face if nothing good comes out of the mouth
I think you're dead wrong about personality being last. I've seen even jobless guys still getting women here and there. I don't know how they do it, but they do. And it's probably personality. I do agree with you about height. It's one of the biggest things I hate about myself.
I'm 5'7". For me, height is very important. It's much harder for me to fall for a guy, regardless of his looks, if he's shorter than me. Or even the same height. I start by worrying if he actually is taller than me. If he's the same height, it's even more stressful. He could suddenly stop growing and I would be left with a midget boyfriend. Many girls don't have a preference, some even prefer shorter men, but I definetely prefer to have a taller boyfriend. It's comforting.
I should really disagree. Heigh is not the most important thing on a guy. I have fallen for short guys and it has never bothered me. I think my list would be:
1. Good face
2. Brain
3. Personality
4. Nice body
5. Social status
6. Money (though money doesn't really matter at my age, at least.)
You're wrong, I'm 5'10 and my boyfriend is about your height. I think it bothered him more than it bothered me, but then he kept hearing that if a guy is with a woman who is taller than him people assume he must be rich or good in bed, not exactly bad things for people to think about you
It's funny you mention that. I met a guy in January, amazing guy no doubt , amazing personality, caring, VERY good looking, etc. BUT he is 5'4 .. and I'm 5'6 1/2. Not that big of a difference, I know, and I did try to get over it, but in the end, now it is something that I can't get used to. I didn't want to let height get in the way of us, but I just can't help it. I don't feel feminine enough around him because of the fact that I'm taller than him.
I would say it's social status first and foremost, at least when you're just walking up to a girl or meeting her for the first time. Whether that status comes from money, looks, personality is irrelevant - however I think after you get to know her it's more personality and what kind of future you have in store for you.
height does it for me every time it makes me notice the guy, I'll talk to him and judge as potential or friend, and a body appeals more to me than face but if his face looks like the bottom of my shoe of course I wouldn't bother cos what if we have babies my kids will be hideous rest I don't care about
In my opinion many women do consider height very important. At least the girls I know do.
I don't though. ^^

I could care less about height. MAYBE 5'10 with shoes on and I am taller than 85% of the girls I run into or who like me. If they are my height, who cares, taller may be awkward but who cares. In the end run it's just height, some you CANNOT change so I have learned to live with it. If you like your height- GOOD. Fuck everyone who doesn't

You know, recently I found that a man who dresses well can compensate for height. It's how you emphasise yourself that matters. A tall person may attract a lot of attention, but so does a guy who dresses sharply. You may not be able to attract the blond bombshell but you'll probably steal a few glances from the average girl you meet.

Hm. Your theory is interesting but keep in mind that what women notice is not necessarily what women want. This is my list of things that I notice:
1. Height
2. *Style*
3. Good body
4. Good face
5. *Manners*
6. Money
7. Social status
8. Personality
And this is the list of what I might not notice, but want in a guy:

height is important. but honestly. I'm 5'7'' so I want a guy 6 foot or taller.
but a guy 5'9'' id date. you're 5'7'' that's not too short. for a guy yes. but honestly. girls look at the face first.
heres how it goes for me:
1 face
2 personality
3 height
4 drives
5 has a steady job

FOR ME:
Height
personality
good face
Money
nice body (body can be fixed)
social status(that can be fixed easily)
well I would say personality comes before nice body, money, and social status if I'm being completely honest, and social status comes before money. Ha my game is so much better than a lot of guys who are 6' + and I'm 5'9''
I usually date girls that are my height or taller than me.
It's about the confidence, showing your best attributes, and putting your best foot forward.
Btw Body, Money, Social Status, and Personality are all things you can change. Your face has a lot to do with your hair style.
Seriously you're thinking about height way too much.
Hope this helps.

In what order would you say the list is from a guy's point of view?
I would say:
1. good body
2. good face
3. personality
4. social status
5. brain
6. money
am I right?

just buy him insoles if it bothers u that much

1. height
6. personality
3. nice body
2. good face
5. social status
6. money

You are really shallow, you know that.
hahaa, lies.
I don't want a guy shorter than me, but if he's my height or taller, it doesn't matter.
I don't think majority of girls go around saying I want a guy that's (this specific height) or were not talking, that's kind of ridiculous no?
unless the girl is 6 ft and she wants a 6 ft, its crazy for you to think that.
If she was really interested your height wouldn't matter.
&btw, I consider 5'6 tall.
I have to admit that I do have a problem dating guys shorter then me, I'm 5'5 and it just feels weird, the guy has to be at least my height.
Still, my list would be:
1. Personality
2. Height (probably equally important)
3. Good face
4. Nice body
5. Money/Social Status
In my opinion many women do consider height very important. At least the girls I know do.
I don't though. ^^
