Got me!!! I used to wear them all the time back in the `80's then the Fart Simpleton look became all the rage and, suddenly, men weren't even allowed in public unless their "SHORTS" went down to their ankles!!! Back in the early `70s, they called those, "flood pants" and made fun of anyone that wore them!! Now, I can't even show half a thigh without having people feel like puking because of i!!

I see everyday everywhere female are wearing and look attractive.
No problems in any society apart from Afghanistan and Saudi.

Well I’ve even seen some girls wear extremely short jeans shorts that are literally the size of thongs even in shopping malls and streets yet no one will insult them for indecent exposure. But certain group of people will still be offended if the guy wear female shorts even if the guy is reasonably attractive looking and can somewhat pass as female. I’ve encountered feminine looking crossdressers with long hair and makeup wear extremely short jeans shorts in public and guess what they faced a lot of verbal abuse and even physical abuse when people found out the crossdressers are males. I feel like certain group of people are unbelievably sexist towards men. Liberal media lies and say it's sexist against women. This is one of many evidences that proves that's not true. If a girl wears shorts that are literally the size of thongs in public, there's be no issues.

I think you are making a big huge mess out of nothing. I’ve been called out for short shorts before by three black women. One was so on the brink of exploding from my short shorts she decided to follow me into the store to tell me how short they were. Little did she know I just got out of the gym and they were spandex. I had to curse the woman out. It just depends on who you are around at the very moment.

Well I am sorry that happened to you but we still cannot deny the fact that women definitely have more freedom than men when it comes to exposing their legs. Women can expose their thighs and buttcheeks whereas men are expected to wear knee length shorts. Also, its pretty bad to be a part of LGBT community though it depends on which letter (LGBT) you are. Being a lesbian is less dangerous than being gay, and being a transgender (male to female) or crossdresser (male to female) is a nightmare. In conversations with random strangers more than once have I heard anecdotes about beating up crossdressers (male to female), transgenders (male to female), gays. by the way, I live in country that is deeply homophobic.

The issue is I live in one of most homophobic countries in the world. In my country, it is acceptable for women to wear men's clothing, but not for men to dress in women's clothing. And this has always bothered my so much. Even when I was very young I thought it was unfair that boys had pants or shorts, but then girls had the same pants and shorts, but then all the other variety of “bottoms” (skirts, dresses, short-shorts, etc.) on top of them. “Why do girls get so many more options,” I used to think. It just isn’t fair…

I dream of living in a society where people do not care about this. Where a man can put on a pair of tights and a skirt, and no one will bat an eye. That would be incredible, but would also take a very long time to come true. Maybe one day…

But women still can get away with wearing such short jean shorts in public without any consequences. However, that's simply not the case for men. If you act feminine as a gay man or transgender (male to female) by wearing female clothes in public, you might have some trouble. You could even get beaten up by some random assholes. My gay friends and transgenders (male to female) "don't wear female clothes in public" because of that.
