Beauty standards have raised guys expectations and people often feels obligated to follow them? Agree or not?

And many more.
Most of the people find natural body type, the way you're born unattractive. And sometimes people to feel socially acceptable and other dont judge them on the basis of how they look try hard to meet those standards.
(These stuff seems shallow to me personally because rather than working on looks working on personality is wayy better)

Ps: i am not talking about when people themselves do those for *themselves*.
I am talking about when people do them so that *others* can accept them and not comment on them.

I disagree. Seeing these photoshopped girls in advertising... guys are 100% aware this is how it is. It's unrealistic. Most guys (honestly) think they're not good enough (physically) for a woman who looks like that. The truth is, NO one really looks like they do in advertising pictures. Blemishes are removed, breaststroke are uplifted and slightly reshaped, hips are slimmed, buttocks are either added to, or thinned, legs reshaped... c'mon! Thats not real! As a girl, please don't think you're not good enough if you don't look like that!

Truth - just be yourself. Sure, take the time to look nice, but don't go out of your way to attempt to meet near impossible levels of beauty. Attracting a guy this way, is not how you'll find it. What you'll get is a guy who likes and wants the exterior, but we all have a minor problem. We ALL get older, and those youthful looks WILL fade. Then what do you have?

Guys (and girls too) want the real person, not some made up fantasy that looks nice and at the end of the day has to remove 5 pounds of makeup to reveal a witch like Drucella underneath it. Just be yourself. Work on developing a good personality. Have a sense of humor. Be playful but not destructive in that playfulness. Guys who see that are FAR more attracted to a girl like that. Why? Because you're being the REAL you - like the vast majority of them are.

The perfect figure is the one you look at every time you see that someone you love.

Flawless skin is all the little freckles and marks that become special spots you can kiss..

Breast and ass size don’t even matter once you’re in love.

Most people only look at those things, because they’ve yet to experience more than the false lights coming from the screens on all their devices.

People care more for each other when a real and heartfelt connection happens.

Though I agree these things can still distract from moaning genuine connections or not realizing you have something already that you’re going to end up missing later.

I used to feel sorry for lazy women until they started preaching 'fat acceptance' and claiming it's immoral discrimination if a man doesn't find a lazy fat woman attractive. And then I thought about the other women claiming men should accept them as they are & I asked myself where should I draw the line? At women who want to wear mustaches? Women who wear oversized men's shoes because it's comfortable? Women who claim they don't want to make their hair look nice to go on a date I'm paying for because it's not "comfortable" to put any effort in? It’s a two way street and I don’t feel everyone is that way but I do feel that there’s usually something about that person’s appearance that draws us to that person and it’s not always a super model quality that draws a person to the person they’re attracted too. Also there’s a lot of people that have different reasons for staying interested in the person for me it’s inner beauty

Honestly I think the issue is weight. People have gained weight more often that they used to or is healthy, so being in decent shape went from essentially expected to “high standards”

1. "Prima Facie" (at first view), you don't know personality right away, but you do see visually right away.
