Wearing a kilt as a man is both amazing and horrifying. Amazing because it is of course oh so manly and other men will happily tell you so. Horrifying because some women always seem to want to see if you are wearing it correctly.
Our busdrivers did this nationwide. They had some heat-related issue and were basically refused to wear shorts so they went with skirts.
I think wider acceptance is overall good. Ultimately just because we don't judge the dude in a skirt doesn't mean we all want to wear them. Sometimes fighting for a liberty is just about being allowed to do something, not so much wanting to do so.

I think, and I may be wrong, that the reason should be related with empowerment. Women had been historically put in a position of weakness and at the same time the customary clothing attire, in general, was skirts for women and pants for men. That makes me think that women wanted to wear pants as a symbol of strength and equality.
On the other hand, nowadays, some men want to wear skirts more as a reason to show their gender preference, but the number is small and there's no one preventing them from doing it.
Well if women fought to wear pants why would guys fight to wear skirts as they could already wear pants. Women started wearing pants in the 40's during the war because they were working in factories and it was safer and the women wearing them stayed cleaner. Then the women decided they liked wearing pants.
No, i have not seen any men fighting to wear skirts.
where did you find them!!!
would really like to know this..!

I wear a kilt, there was a load of them worn on New Year’s Eve.
There are some problems with them though lol, you don’t wear anything under them, mainly as you cook yourself if you do lol.
Nothing wrong at all with wearing kilts, it’s also viewed as masculine, again culture comes in to play.Because this is what makes men and women different and y'all just do not get it. I as a man if i want to wear a skirt i just would. What does it even mean to "fight" for a skirt? That is such a weak person mindset. The fact women had to "fight for pants" shows that they are weak and not as capable as men. Its not the pants or skirts at all.
Now why dont i want to wear a skirt? Because im not a gay.Because a lot of men don't want to abandon their masculinity despite a few doing so. Women abandoned their femininity and it is starting to get looked down upon. Stay-at-home mothers for example have gotten hate from supposed "feminists". Gen-Z girls have completely given up on feminine dress. They all wear pants, sweatpants etc and never get dressed up for nice occasions. Many of them have become non-binary as well
I don't want to wear skirts. I think men should be able to wear them without being considered gay or cross dressing, but I'm not sure how I would "fight for" that. I am gay, so me wearing them wouldn't help.
I am not because I don't believe men should wear skirts. We should wear trousers.
The only reason men wore kilts was because they were too dumb to invent trousers. But you go ahead and wear a skirt if it makes you happy.
men were the original wearers of skirts, women took them over, and now women don't want them anymore. will this mean men will go back?
Because very few men want to wear them. It's not something that men dream of when they go to sleep
Because there's no reason for men to wear them. Except if you are Scottish.
Most men don't wear skirts because we don't want them
If white men started wearing kilts or sarongs, the idiots on the far left would then start screaming "cultural appropriation"!
They don’t have to. They can just wear them.
Why the heck would we wear skirts
Cause they dont know why
It just wouldn't look like right on a guy
